The competition will feature men's and women's trap and skeet events, youth trap and skeet events, mixed team trap and skeet events, and mixed youth team trap and skeet events. A total of 147 athletes and coaches from 14 countries and regions, including Kuwait, Qatar, Vietnam, Iran, and Malaysia, have registered for the competition, with registrations still ongoing.
The Linfen government attaches great importance to this event and has established a special organizing committee. The committee has dispatched working groups to three entry airports to assist international teams with customs clearance. It also has upgraded venues, accommodations, and dining facilities, and provided pre-event training for volunteers to create a comfortable environment. During the event, participants will enjoy free admission to 22 scenic spots and free access to 21 attractions with their competition credentials.
The event's logo features a red oval simulating a bullet striking and shattering a clay target, capturing a dynamic and thrilling moment in skeet shooting. The mascot, named Zunbao, is inspired by the Bird-shaped Zun (a wine vessel), a treasure of the Shanxi Museum, symbolizing the spirit of Linfen soaring to greater heights.
