From April 23 to 26, leaders from political parties and mainstream media from 23 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Oceania visited North China's Shanxi province to study and participate in exchanges.

During their visit to Taiyuan, Linfen, and Yuncheng, the delegation engaged in on-site tours and cultural experiences, gaining firsthand insight into Shanxi's vibrant practices in cultural heritage, industrial innovation, and environmental management.

On April 24, the delegation visited the headquarters of Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group Co and its exhibition center. They learned about the company's development history, industrial layout, and advancements in smart manufacturing, witnessing the robust growth of Shanxi's new quality productive forces.

At the company's digital transformation experience zone, many visitors were fascinated by the 5G remote-controlled unmanned excavation. They eagerly took turns in the "cockpit" to control the giant excavators via screen monitoring. "It's simply amazing!" said the editor-in-chief of Egypt's Popular News Network. He recorded a video to share with the Egyptian public, highlighting the company's intelligent products and how to obtain them from Shanxi.

On April 25, the delegation toured Shanxi's attractions such as Xiaoxitian, Jinci Temple, and Yongle Palace. The vice chairman of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission of the Cambodian People's Party remarked, "Shanxi is rich in cultural heritage and places great importance on cultural preservation, as evidenced by its meticulous care for Buddhist statues."

Li Yan, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shanxi Province, stated that this visit successfully built a bridge of cooperation between Shanxi and international political and media circles through on-site inspections and in-depth dialogues. It allowed more people from abroad to understand Shanxi as a region with a profound history, dynamic vitality, and remarkable achievements.
